Refund policy

We want you to feel comfortable ordering from Clothcottagehome. If your purchase does not work for you, you may request a return under the conditions below.

30-Day Return Period

You may request a return within 30 calendar days after your order is delivered.

To qualify for a return, the product must be:

Unused and unwashed
Free from stains, odors, damage, or signs of wear
Returned with its original packaging and tags, when included
Complete with all parts or accessories that arrived with it

Products returned without prior approval may not be accepted.

How to Request a Return

Before mailing a product, contact our customer service team and provide:

Your order number
The product you want to return
The reason for the return
Clear photographs if the product is damaged, defective, or incorrect

If your request is approved, we will provide the correct return address and mailing instructions.

Do not send a return to our business address. Returns must be sent to the address provided by customer service after approval.

Change-of-Mind Returns

We accept eligible returns when a customer changes their mind, orders the wrong product, or no longer wants the product.

For these returns:

The customer is responsible for return shipping costs
The original shipping charge is not refundable
A trackable return shipping service is recommended
We are not responsible for customer-returned packages lost in transit

Damaged, Defective, or Incorrect Products

Please inspect your order after delivery.

If a product arrives damaged, defective, or different from what you ordered, contact us within 7 calendar days whenever possible. If you discover the issue later, contact us as soon as possible within the 30-day return period.

Please include clear photographs of the product, packaging, shipping label, and affected area.

After reviewing the information, we may provide a prepaid return label and an appropriate refund. We cover approved return shipping costs when the product is damaged, defective, or sent incorrectly.

No Exchanges

We do not accept exchanges or product-for-product replacements.

If you want a different product, color, or design, return the eligible product for a refund and place a new order separately.

Damaged, defective, and incorrect products are also handled through the return and refund process.

Non-Returnable Products

We cannot accept products that:

Have been used, washed, altered, stained, or damaged after delivery
Show signs of wear, odors, pet hair, or improper care
Are missing original parts or accessories
Are returned without prior approval
Are submitted after the 30-day return period

These restrictions do not limit any rights that apply to damaged, defective, or incorrect products under applicable law.

Sale and Promotional Products

Sale and promotional products follow the same return conditions as regularly priced products unless a different condition was clearly displayed before purchase.

Refunds and Fees

We do not charge a restocking fee.

After an approved return is received and inspected, the refund will be issued to the original payment method within 5 business days.

Payment providers may need an additional 5–10 business days to post the credit to your account.

Refunds normally include the returned product price and applicable sales tax. Original shipping charges are not refundable unless the return resulted from a damaged, defective, or incorrect product.

Order Cancellations

Cancellation is only possible before fulfillment begins and cannot be guaranteed. Once an order has shipped, it must follow the standard return process after delivery.
